 be when government runs amok.  Consider the most recent case—the ballot proposition being voted on this fall to make circumcision of male babies illegal.  Yes, they’re serious. 

In creating what proponents call a human right, they are perfectly prepared to throw away family and religious rights.  There’s not even an exception for those who, like Jews and Muslims, practice circumcision for religious reasons. 

San Francisco, which has already run big business and plastic bags out of town, has become a lifestyle city.  And now it is willing to enforce the majority’s ideas of a proper lifestyle through law.  The Founders called it a “majority faction” that needs checks and balances. 

I call it a frightening example of limitless government run amok.
