‘Tis the Season (Townhall.com) December 20, 2010

Tis the season—not to be jolly, but to battle to remove Christmas from its place in public life.  Sadly, the so-called “war on Christmas” is upon us again.

·        Christmas Village in Philadelphia became Holiday Village this year;

·        A ferry terminal in NY removed its nativity scene;

·        Chase bank in Texas took down the Christmas tree in its lobby;

·        And the Lincoln Tunnel in NY features a billboard with a nativity scene, but the words are “You know it’s a myth, this season celebrate reason.”

Sure it’s a free country and you can say that if you wish.  But the idea that we should respect every point of view but a Christian one gets it all wrong.

Pushing God and Christmas out of American public life is a political and secular agenda, not a Constitutional one.
